An outstanding performance by NHB Redface has mesmerized the worldwide music enthusiasts. While playing the music ‘Respect This Bloody’ (Blueface Diss), you will love the rhythmic sense of the artist. Here’s the conversation where the artist has described the work –
Q: So, what are the music genres you have worked on so far?
A: Hip hop, r&b, pop, and soft rock
Q: Who or what has inspired you to involve yourself in the music industry?
A: I feel like as an artist you have to be self-involved, no matter what aspect you are in life or your job description in the Industry. So probably the people who believed in my vision but were taking advantage of me inspired me to become more involved as an “artist”.
Q: Tell us about your latest released music video ‘Respect This Bloody’ (Blueface Diss)?
A: Didn’t wanna really do the video since it’s not my “typical” single, but the song was so hyped I had to do a visual just based on the fact I want my respect
Q: Do you focus more on lyrics or on the rhythmic part while creating music?
A: I don’t focus too much on the lyrics, nobody is really lyrical anymore. I more so create a vibe off the beat and work on my flow after. Maybe a certain sound that stands out to me, but the beat is really my starting point. I can be lyrical or use hella wordplay but I just feel if you focus on your lyrics too much you’ll miss the excitement in creating the song.
Q: With whom you will love to collaborate in the future?
A: To be honest like Roddy Rich, Chris Brown, Beyoncé, Future, Justin Bieber, Saint John and Camila Cabello
Q: What has made you think of creating music?
A: Ever since I got put in the booth following behind my older brother I really just fell in love with it and made it my canvas, whether I’m going through something or hear a certain sound a melody will pop in my head and I just wanna get in the booth and lay a track down. I don’t write so it’s like I have to create whenever.
Q: I have watched the music video and found that you have inserted many important elements. So, can you just elaborate on the features that make a track truly powerful?
A: From the instruments to the sound effects, I just focus on sounds and putting them together. What makes something different, pop or stand out I just create. I don’t do it for every song but I feel like each track needs it’s own finesse.
Q: What do you think about live performances – are they truly help to reach new audiences?
A: To me live performances are straight, interactions as a music artist can be important. Now the audience can feel the real enjoyment of a live show. I believe in showmanship, and creating that bond. Depending on the venue I would want a live band. Listen I just honestly LOVE music.
Q: While performing in front of the mass have you ever dealt with performance anxiety?
A: Never (probably from all the excitement)
Q: What are the things that you have learned so far while surviving in the music industry?
A: It’s a tank full of sharks, everybody for themselves well at least where I’m from…if anything I been learned you just got to be cautious. You gotta have your own back.
Q: Any tips for those who want to be a future musicians?
Things you will love to share with your fans.
A: It’s not all glitz and gs, you take losses it’s hard if your trying to take it all the way serious but you just have to be persistent and stay grinding.
