Upcoming rapper Broot is reshuffling my playlist with all of the sixteen timeless songs from his newly released album, ‘Roots’. The album is a tribute to the turbulences and undulations of life in a thematic progression of sixteen tracks. Some of the tracks from the album like ‘Twenties’, ‘Outlaw’, ‘undiscovered’, and ‘Nightmare’ are not only relatable but also resonate with my personal space of creative acceptance. As a result, this independent artist has changed various perspectives through his musical formatting and expressions and has introduced me to the creative limitlessness of hip-hop and rap once again.
This Salem rapper’s musical releases under the production label Broot’s World, LLC has helped him release multiple singles and albums. His lyrical verses are strong and impactful and touch the grey areas of life’s obscure pain and struggles. ‘Roots’ is a musical transcription of is feelings that is also allowing his audience, including me to experience the virtues of life from a new standpoint. He recently released a mixtape called S1imple and his upcoming projects include another untitled album.
