The musical marathon of melodic metal strains in the band Fall of Fathom’s newly released debut single, ‘Dead Flowers’ is adding to the cultural legacy of the genre.
The contemporary strains of melodic metal sound and arrangements are currently topping my playlist as upcoming band Fall of Fathom’s creative diversity has captivated my creative awareness with their debut song. The band recently came out with their single ‘Dead Flowers’ which is a balance hybridization of metalcore, deathcore, Djent, nu-metal, and post-hardcore influences. The six-member band has put together the elements of musical being and paved the way for a creative redemption in the scope of metal music. The song is also lyrically strong as the two vocalists oscillate between harsh and clean vocals to create the most perfect musical and expressional undulations.
The band Fall of Fathom hails from Southwest Idaho and retains the sense of the evolutionary gradients of metal that has been carried on to this day. Their debut song ‘Dead Flowers’ shows their extent of creative vision which will grow into a bigger space and accomplishment. The band utilizes a heavy bassline and drop-tuned guitars that meander alongside a periodic poly-rhythms. The collaboration between Will Pompey and Scott Charles on clean and harsh vocals, Tanner Holmes and Ben Granillo on guitar, Miguel Rivera on Bass, and Ryan Sparrell on drums is exotic and exclusive.
