Starting with the Indie rock genre, where Beatrice Laus who is most popularly known as Beabadoobee, a Filipino-born British singer-songwriter is back to present her modern guitar tunings with her latest project ‘Fake It Flowers’. The long-awaited album is certainly turning up the heat with her hit voice as she puts a new spin on the 90s alt-rock by infusing her massive sonic clarity. On the Alt-Rock scene, we have is Soul Asylum, the American Alternative rock band who is here to release their new acoustic EP named ‘Born Free EP’. The EP features the various acoustic versions o their songs from the Hurry Up and Wait album where they have reintroduced their chiming riffs and hitting guitar sounds to appeal to the audience. The project is all set to interesting and brings back their charm to the scene with the hitting songs.
In Country Rock, as a tribute to the late American singer-songwriter Tom Petty, who died three years back, a massive feature of his 25 songs album, live recordings, alternative versions, and live renditions, Tom Petty’s family and Heartbreakers bandmates have finally decided to unearth them all with the 1994 classic ‘Wildflower & All The Rest’. The project was very close to the late singer’s heart and encloses various moments along with a video where Tom is seen at his home. His intricate songwriting process, incredible instrumental sounds, and warm music have all been well stuffed in the collection. The Hard rock scene has The Struts, the English rock is here with their latest project ‘Strange Days; that is sure to serve as another feather to their already ornamented musical cap. The Country singer has amassed millions of fans with his music within a short span and this announcement has increased excitement in his fans like never before. The six tracks EP seems to be his first step towards the next chapter of his life.
And, lastly, on the Alt/ Indie genre, there is Alexandra Artourovna Yatchenko, professionally known as Sasha Sloan, an American singer, and songwriter who seems to trust her guts with her latest record ‘Only Child’. The album comprising of ten solid songs sees the prolific singer being her most vulnerable self as she most honestly and brutally sheds light on her deepest fears to finally be herself. A collection of great grief and significant dark humor, the album sounds to be imposing with various emotionally triggering tracks.
