The American Instrumental band which has recreated the whole genre of instrumental music and created a milestone through their mind-bending music and instrumental pieces is known as The Budos Band. This band has released the latest album this year named ‘Long in the tooth’ which is a complete treat to my ears. There are a total of 11 songs like ‘Sixth Hammer’, ‘Snake Hawk’, ‘Silver stallion’, ’The Wrangler’, ’Haunted Sea’, etc in this album and I like to listen to them in one go. Each of them is incorporated with classic jazz and psychedelic music from the ’70s, afro-funk, and hard rock from the ’60s and blending them into fine instrumental pieces. So I can get all the flavors along with modern implementations, which I like the most about this band.
The band originated back then in 2005 with their first album named after the band’s name only, The Budos Band. The latest album ‘Long in the tooth’ is the best instrumental album till now by this band. Though I like the other albums released earlier like the Budos Band II, Burnt Offering, The Budos Band V, etc which also provide a similar intriguing instrumental vibe. The band members like Jared Tankle, Mike Deller, Daniel Foder, Rob Lombardo, Andrew Greene, and others did intense jamming sessions to provide these amazing instrumental pieces to satisfy the souls of the listeners.
