The 3-part band Head Fake has recently released their brand new project called EP3 employing retro synths with contemporary tools and techniques to create a unique sound that brings back the ‘80s nostalgia with a pinch of their new wave of reverberation. I was highly impressed by the introductory track called ‘Hollywood Dreams’ that paints a vivid picture of dreams and hopes that keeps one going and doesn’t let them get off the track submitting to the temptations of the world. The 7-track EP is the perfect solution to break the monotony of contemporary music with a poised outcome of vintage and modern resonance.
The extraordinary soundscape of the trio Head Fake is blurring the gap between genres with their incredible mix of both nostalgic and modern rhythms that gives birth to a unique soundscape. Their recently released EP EP3 introduced me to the sounds of the past decades that linger in the heart for a long.
