The night at the MTV European Music Awards was a huge success for the new host of the event, Little Mix as they took the breath away of the audiences on the o0ther side of the screen with their feisty and overwhelming performances. The award show was completely insane with the presence of fabled artists and some of them took home several trophies.
Unlike other years, EMA 2020 was hosted in different parts of Europe, celebrating the night with the whole world by setting its parties scattered in many places. David Guetta and Raye performed the sizzling new track “Let’s Love,” under the starry sky of Budapest. Meanwhile, Maluma seized the attention with his hot moves and neon-purple strikes of love, performing “Djadja” and “Hawái” from London cityscape.
This year, artists all over the world were recognized for their beautiful contribution to the music world. For the first time in the history of Europe Music Awards, celebrities from across the globe were nominated in various categories of music awards. It was aired on Sunday, November 8, 2020, honoring the most influential artists in the world.
Lady Gaga, BTS, and Justin Bieber won several awards of the night. Lady Gaga got nominated for six popular categories in the show whereas BTS proved to be a good competition by earning four awards in total. Best Song, Best Group, Biggest Fans, and Best Virtual Live awards were snatched by the biggest K-pop band BTS. Gaga walked away with Best Artist and Best US Act, and Justin Bieber was honored for his visual performance in DJ Khaled and Drake’s “Popstar” video.
Little Mix bagged Best Pop, as well as Best UK & Ireland Act for this year, and finally, they took the stage on fire with a bloody hot performance of their new single “Sweet Melody.” They did not forget to mention their worldwide fans for the unfathomable support and took to Twitter to say, “You all did that!!! Thank you to everyone who voted for us to win the Best UK & Ireland Act and Best Pop. Love you all Mixers @mtvema.”
