Pop start Dua Lipa catches a lot of air with her galactic performance on “Levitating” at AMA 2020

Pop Icon Dua Lipa has set the stage on fire with her latest performance at American Music Awards 2020. The artist delivered a flawless performance on her latest track “Levitating” on Sunday, 22nd November.

She was dressed in a blue shimmery minidress along with matching booties and glittery eye makeup that goes perfectly with the lyrics “Glitter in the sky, glitter in my eyes”. With the galaxy in the background and amazing interactive performance by the co-dancers in blue leotards, the track reached a whole new level.

Dua carries the bouncy energy of the song even further with the aerial act at the end which gives the audience a visual as if she is levitating. She goes up in the galactic background while singing the line “You can fly away with me tonight” while glittering showers on her.

Undoubtedly this magnetic performance by the singer has gathered a lot of attention and made her fanatics go crazy. The performance was held at The Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles by maintaining all the Covid-19 protocols in place.

There were multiple live performances by the other artists as well. The show was opened by Shawn Mendes and Justin Bieber’s performance on their new single “Monster”. Bieber also performed two of his hit singles, “Lonely” and “Holy.”

The competition was tough and the anticipation was high as 2020 has been a real musical rush for every artist with the global pandemic hitting the market.

Dua won the American Music Awards 2020 in the nomination of ‘FAVORITE SONG — POP/ROCK’. She took the award home with her chart-busting track “Don’t Start Now” while competing with Post Malone, Roddy Ricch, The Weeknd, and Lewis Capaldi.
