Just after a month when Doja Cat and Bebe Rexha debuted with their new single ‘Baby, I’m Jealous’, they collaborated for a smashing performance of their smash hit the track at the American Music Award in the year 2020.
Rexha is only 31 years old and Doja Cat is 25 years old, whose real name is Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini rocked in a unique and stylish outfit as they have been performing in the song.
It has been a unique performance by both of them as they are the rarest breed of performers as they performed live actually in downtown Los Angeles at the Microsoft Theater as most of the other performers have already sent their pre-taped versions of the performances.
Rexha was the first one to took the stage and she was decked in all white that included a spiky and unique headdress over the bright red locks she had.
She stepped out with an ensemble in all white that included fringed tassels and white shoulder pads that fell into her waist that has an intricate white top and plenty of skin was shown off.
She has completed the look with magnificent thigh-high white heeled boots that have got white coverings on the fingers as well.
She has been followed by Doja Cat on stage who had very much of a medieval look and on top she had a skimpy bikini and it has been made to look like it in a way such that it is fashioned out of bones.
The singer showed off her beautiful tresses as she let her long curly locks down in an exquisite fashion with a white-colored furry bikini at the bottom along with another bone necklace dangling down the waist.
Her look has been completed with a pair of intricate-looking knee caps that come with a pair of furry white boots that covered her legs to the down from the knees.
While Rexha did not manage to take home any hardware on a starry night, Doja Cat managed to walk away with a couple of awards as she won the Favorite Female Artist –Soul and R&B and New Artist of the Year.
She went ahead of Megan Thee Stallion, Roddy Ricch, Lil Baby, DaBaby, and Lewis Calpadi to win the New Artist of the Year Award.
Doja Cat bested and emerged victorious over Summer Walker and Jhene Aiko in the category for Favorite Female Artist in Soul and R&B.
The numbers for Covid-19 have been rising all across the country and there has been a limited number of audience at the attendance as several precautionary measures are taken by the organizers of the event for the award show and they have tried very hard to make it as safe an event as possible.
A spokesperson from Dick Clark Productions spoke to Rolling Stone this Saturday and said that a rigorous safety guideline and protocols are in place for Covid-19 and this has already been approved by the unions and they have taken guidance from the County Depart of Public Health of LA and all the facilities that are provided are beyond that what is required.
All the attendance who have entered the venue has been tested in advance and the procedure of testing will continue until wrapping throughout the production.
Those who are not on stage and inside the premises of the venue were also provided with facial coverings with a single exception that is of the background singers who have also been asked to wear a mask.
Both Doja Cat and Bebe Rexha bursts on to the scene with their maiden album in the year 2018, with Doja Cats, dubbed Amala and Rexha’s entitled Expectations.
