Late American Rapper Pop Smoke’s team is keeping his legend alive by releasing a brand new music video called ‘What You Know Bout Love’. Bashar Barakah Jackson, famously known as Pop Smoke, was considered the face of Brooklyn Drill due to his unique and inimitable thematic talents. Died only at 21, the rapper, singer, and songwriter had created a huge gap in the industry.
Starting his musical career in 2018, the gifted musician soon rose to fame with record-breaking hip hop bangers like ‘Dior’ and ‘Christopher Walking’. His album Shoot For The Stars Aim for The Moon was produced by the legend 50 Cent. A more romantic side of him was introduced, through the album drifting away from his menacing rapping style.
His most recent release ‘What You Know Bout Love’, is directed by Oliver Cannon. The music video features a lot of unreleased footage from his earlier studio sessions. The song showcases a playful lyrical wordplay offering a strong lyric-based composition. Even though his premature murder has deprived the fans of so much more, his team is trying their best to keep his memory alive.
