Gomez will put her quarantine cooking skills on display in a 10-episode series for the upcoming streaming service HBO Max. After an angry mob of President Donald Trump supporters took control of the U.S. Capitol in a violent insurrection, Gomez laid much of the blame at the feet of Big Tech. It’s the latest effort by the 28-year-old actress-singer to draw attention to the danger of internet companies critics say have profited from misinformation and hate on their platforms.. Selena Gomez is making her mind up to quite the stage for a while to concentrate on her future in the movies. She is stirred up by the critics because for some reason her recording ability is never enough to satisfy them.

Her songs are liked by millions of viewers, yet she has to face the disapproval of the critics who may never like her even if she is good enough.

The mega pop star is thinking about giving up her mic to embrace more promising opportunities in acting and producing. She wants to become a major part of mainstream movies because she often feels underappreciated in the music industry. She is tired from all the flawed comments of lightning rods and makes her unpredictable move to leave the music industry gasping.

“It’s hard to keep doing music when people don’t necessarily take you seriously,” Gomez told Vogue magazine.

“I’ve had moments where I’ve been like, ‘What’s the point? Why do I keep doing this?’ Lose You to Love Me I felt was the best song I’ve ever released, and for some people, it still wasn’t enough,” she added.

“I think there are a lot of people who enjoy my music, and for that, I’m so thankful, for that I keep going, but I think the next time I do an album it’ll be different. I want to give it one last try before I maybe retire music,” she startled everyone.

She also admitted that this is going to the last time to give her the best shot, so, she must “be careful” about her choice of words. Then she dropped the bomb saying “(I want to) give myself a real shot at acting.”

“I haven’t even touched the surface of what I want to do,” she shared, adding: “The parts that I want are the ones I need help with. I can’t wait for the moment when a director can see that I’m capable of doing something that no one’s ever seen,” she went on.
