Lauren Akins and Thomas Rhett share daughters Ada James, three and a half years, Lennon Love, fourteen months, and Willa Gray, five.
This Mother’s day the couple had something extraordinary to celebrate. Over the past weekend, the country singer of 31-years-old and his beloved wife announced that they are expecting their fourth child, a daughter!
The singer shared a sweet snap that was clicked backstage on Saturday, at his concert at Billy Bob’s in Fort Worth Texas, and wrote that they are pregnant once again. The wife showed off her baby bump.
He continued to say that the night when he was on stage in Fort Worth, all set to play the track ‘to the guys that date my girls’, his wife talked to him in his ear monitors and said that if he wishes he could share the news with everyone. And, anyone everyone knows it now, he added. He concluded by saying that they are thoroughly pumped to be having their fourth daughter.

As the post came to an end, the popular country star went ahead to joke about his future of being a father of four daughters and said that people could feel free to buy all the merch they want, as now all the proceeds shall be straightly directed to the four weddings in the future that he shall be paying for one day.
He then expressed his love to @laur_akins and said that they always wanted a big thanksgiving table.
The Country singer and his wife tied the knot in 2012 and are parents to three daughters.
Thomas Rhett said that he is completely embracing the feeling of being a stereotypical dad. Akins also marked the special occasion by sharing a meaningful social media post. Alongside a sweet photo of the couple posing together while they are holding up four fingers to represent their growing family, from three to four, she wrote ‘SURPRISE’ and added that her husband just couldn’t wait any longer to share the good news. She also said that @thomasrhettakins has now told their latest little secret onstage at @billybobtexas in Ft. Worth, which is also her mother’s hometown, just at the correct time, on the occasion of Mother’s Day.
Akins also added that her family is expanding in November 2021 with their fourth baby girl and added heart emojis to symbolize her love and longing.
Moreover, the singer also opened up about the relationship which he is growing with his daughters and what he has taught them so far.
He said that he just loves spending one-on-one time with each of his daughters, which is something that he didn’t think was of much importance before. Previously the singer felt that as long all five of them were together, they were good but things have changed for him now.

He believes that the longer he has gone as a dad, he has realized that each child requires this one-on-one time, which is the same way that he and his wife need with each other.
The singer also shared that the couple had hoped to have more children in the coming years. He revealed how his wife wanted five kids forever and so he is sure that they are going to have at least that many in the future!
While speaking, he also added that he would love to have a son but at the same time he is already so used to embracing the ‘girl dad’ life, he doesn’t know what he would end up doing with a boy, which is, in reality, a very honest thought.
Well, as of now let’s just be happy for Thomas Rhett and Lauren Akins for their upcoming bundle of joy!
