The song is all set to present rock in the backdrop of themes and contemporary structures. His influences from the various curves and fissures of music as well as life lead him towards expressing music from a different perspective. The song will also allow him to expand his career as a solo artist. His experience with his band has been instrumental in the formation of a solo career. In the capacity of the singer and songwriter of his upcoming song, he is also planning on releasing an album soon.

Scott Patton’s career in music started back in the 80s in Bloomington, Minnesota. He started actively performing across the local scene around his high school that was the initial step to his decided future as a musician. After gaining local experiences through gigs and other musicians in the town, he formed his own band called The Colour Blue which later became the Colour. It consisted of Dave Wagner on bass guitar, David Paquette on vocals and drums, and Scott played the guitar and offered vocals. The band was soon joined by Louie Paretta as the lead singer and rhythm guitarist who shared a common interest in songwriting as Scott. According to him, some of the artists and bands that helped him alongside his bandmates to discover their own sound included The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, and Aerosmith. Scott formed the band, The Colour Part 2 in the 90s as the lead guitarist. Other members of the band included Louie on vocals and rhythm guitar, Lane Allen on drums, and Mark Scott on bass guitar. The band subsequently received many opportunities and played extensively over the next few years. Soon, the band collapsed and Scott started gravitating towards a solo career.

After various gigs and experiences, he finally came back to his roots. After reaching out to some of his former bandmates, they decided to give their new entity, Chasing Colors a chance. However, with the pandemic and other interpersonal differences, the plans for a new band also came to a standstill. But it was Scott’ whose passion and conviction never ceases. Throughout the pandemic, he has written many songs having found time and solace in quarantine. He started his own efforts to take his music out there will a few video posts on Facebook which received cheerful feedbacks. Currently, he combined all his pursuits to go solo officially, something that he wanted to do for many years. He has already released three songs, ‘I Don’t Want To Say Goodbye’, ‘Immigrants Poem’, and ‘Mother Nature’s Song’ which are currently being digitally distributed as singles around the world on most music download and streaming services. His music is politically driven which makes the substance of the songs all the more purposeful and powerful.

Scott Patton is looking forward to the release of his upcoming single, ‘My Dearest Friend’ which will further help him reach out to his audiences. His interpretation of rock music in the backdrop of changing socio-cultural and political scenarios makes his soundscape emerge with the true colors of humanity.
