The collaboration of T-Series and Reliance Entertainment will invest more than 1000 crores to make movies

The biggest collaboration has just happened in the Indian film industry. Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series has made a film deal with Reliance Entertainment recently. Their joint force will be producing over 10 films on different genres, from big-budget films to mid-level and small-scale films rich in creative content.

Their combined investment will be approximately 1,000 crore rupees and they intend to bring out fresh new talent through the films.

T-Series and Reliance Entertainment have worked together before but on music marketing for 100+ movies. They have never teamed up to produce their own films. It presents hope for a long-term partnership between the two entertainment giants, making films in the future.

The films are in a different stage of the whole development process. The collaboration will be producing three big-budget films with the biggest stars in the contemporary Bollywood industry. They will also remake the most successful Tamil action thrillers. Apart from a satirical comedy, a historical biopic, a romance drama, a courtroom drama, and a spy movie, they will be producing a film based on true events.

T-Series had been the biggest record label in India for a long time. It is also one of the biggest film production companies in the country. Reliance Entertainment is a pioneer in the media and entertainment business. It has produced more than 300 hit movies under its belt.

Reliance entertainment had worked with Imtiaz Ali, Ribhu Dasgupta, Vikramaditya Motwane, Neeraj Pandey, Anurag Kashyap, S. Sashikant, Rohit Shetty, and many more producing numerous hit numbers.

T-Series and Reliance Entertainment will be working with talented filmmakers like Vikramjit Singh, Sankalp Reddy, Srijit Mukherji, Pushkar and Gayatri, Mangesh Hadawale, and many more. The films will be produced between the next 24 and 36 months from now. More than 4 films will be released on the big screen worldwide. They will start releasing the films in 2022.

The managing director and chairman of T-Series said that the collaboration will strengthen the ties between the two agencies after their collaboration in music marketing. They are determined to bring a change in the current Hindi film industry bringing new and eccentric types of films.

Reliance Entertainment’s group CEO Shibasish Sarkar said that their partnership with T-Series will open new doors in the Indian film industry. They hope to give the audience a collection of ‘path-breaking and momentous films’.
