India’s one of the most celebrated and talented moviemakers Shubhas Ghai is setting foot in music composing for the first time, with Zee5’s original movie 36 Farmhouse. This movie is directed by Ram Ramesh Sharma and produced by Mukta Searchlight Films and Zee Studios. The veteran filmmaker has also written the lyrics of the songs. And his admirers are eagerly waiting for his next venture.
In a very classic way he launched the music of this movie on Zee TV’s famous and one of the longest-running reality shows Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. in presence of Himesh Reshammiya, Vishal Dadlani, and Shankar Mahadevan the music was launched.
The first song ‘Mohabbat’ is a sweet romantic song sung by the melodious singer Sonu Nigam. This song tells a story in form of remembering several charming moments with your loved ones.
The second one is the catchy number ‘Mind Your Business’ sung by extremely talented singer Hariharan. This is a quirky and unconventional song that pictures Sanjay Mishra. Subhash Ghai has prominently recreated the magic that 90’s songs used to have in his debut album.
The magic that Subhash Ghai’s movies and stories used to have, musical movies like Pardes, Taal, he recreated that experience with his newly released songs.
The ensemble cast of this movie includes Sanjay Mishra, Vijay Raaz, Amol Parashar, Barkha Dutt, Flora Saini, and Ashwini Kalsekar, and many others. This movie highlights the disparity between the rich and the poor in a satirical form. This comedy-drama portrays the vivid massage that some steal for need and some steal out of greed.
Subhash Ghai said, ‘We launched the music of 36 Farmhouse on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa show and the response we received from – my friends, Himesh, Vishal and Shankar, the contestants and the audience members – made me feel overwhelmed and is what keeps me going’ About the music launch.
He further added, ‘I tell stories and write and compose songs for my passion but without the love from my fans, all the efforts would mean nothing. So, I am glad that even after all these
years, the fans still want to see more from me. I hope that they love and appreciate my OTT debut too and I am looking forward to seeing these songs climb the charts soon’.
Yet the fans are thrilled to see him excelling in music composing. But all are waiting to see him back on his director’s chair.
