T-Series has collaborated with Hefty Entertainment, a division of Hungama Digital Media to put in place some digital art pieces and Non-fungible tokens(NFTs) for some of their movies.
The two big giants in the Indian Entertainment industry have contributed some of the best movies, songs, videos, and games. As the first movers in the sphere, they are optimistic enough to continue the process.
Both the entertainment houses are in the process of making the digital arts for their first NFT drop. They will include vector digital creative arts from Akshay Kumar’s Bhoolbhulaiyaa, some illustrations from Aashiqui 2, and an upcoming movie ‘Radhe Shyam’.
Bhushan Kumar, CMD, T-Series said, “We look forward to expanding and enhancing the value of our content that leads to further and rapid expansions of the global digital entertainment industry.”
In the collaboration, Hungama will create NFTs, money can’t buy experience’ and rare collectible, and also unleash special scenes or moments from T-Series’ existing or new content.
Neeraj Roy, the founder of Hungama said, “We are delighted to be first movers into the metaverse of entertainment.” He further spoke in the context, “We look forward to redefining content with this web 3.0 initiative as we find new ways to collaborate and engage with fans.
While YouTube has the world’s largest fanbase on YouTube (395 million), on the other hand, Hungama claims that it has 90 million monthly audiences across gaming, video, and music.
The two giants in the Indian entertainment industry are going to leverage their extensive distribution network globally. They together have a library that consists of more than 2 lakhs songs, 65000 music videos, 150 movies across several Indian languages, and many more.
Both the company are certainly going to take advantage of such massive fanbase they have created over the past few decades.
The collaboration of these two have already made a buzzing news. People expect the same kind of efficiency in the creation of digital arts as they do with all they make. Moreover, NFTs have made their presence in many industries, in India, the collaboration will give it a start in the entertainment sphere of the country.
The Hefty metaverse will be created with an ambition to get engaged with the audiences more eloquently. Both T-Series and Hungama are focusing on transitioning the consumers to the metaverse.
