After a long, the alt-rock heroes led by Dave Grohl’s release have created a buzz. The song is going to be used in the movie Studio 666. And in the movie the song is written by a fictional; metal band Dream Widow.
The song has been released as a lyrical video uploaded on the Youtube channel of Foo Fighters. The song starts like this- ‘No way to silence the screaming / Deafening voices from hell / Carving your hull to completion / Leaving you nothing but shell / Cower in total surrender / Give in and yield to his name / Abandon to wicked seduction / Agony, torment, and strain.”
The song sounds intense. The arrangement of musical instruments is dense to make the audience feel the horrifying environment that they have created.
While the film centered on the FOO Fighters recording in the studio, the song comes from the band that died in the recording studio in the hands of their possessed main singer.
Grohl revealed, “We come in 25 years later to record, having no idea what happened 25 years ago, and I start becoming possessed by the spirit of the guy from 25 years ago and the spirit of the house”. He further added this song, ‘March of the Insane,’ this is their lost record. “
Grohl further explained, “The premise of the movie is that we move into this house, I have writer’s block, I’m totally uninspired, I can’t come up with anything”.
So, it can be said that the song plays a specific role in the upcoming film. However, the song’s individuality can be denied by no means. It is one of the vigorous death metals that was not heard in the last 30 years by any rock band.
