From June 10th ‘Look at Me: XXXTentacion’ will be available on Hulu directed by Sabaah Folayan

Hulu has shared the worldwide premiere date of ‘Look at Me: XXXTentacion’; a documentary by Sabaah Folayan based on the life and events of American rapper XXXTentacion.

The release date of the documentary about Jahseh Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy, ‘Look at Me: XXXTentacion’. The story of twenty years old American Rapper XXXTentacion was showcased in this documentary, sharing various incidents of his life and death.

The movie is directed by Sabaah Folayan, who is famous for her previous documentary ‘Whose Streets? On the Ferguson Uprising’, Hulu will distribute this one afterward. The director shared that he was a raw talent who was unable to connect with the world.

The film just screened at SXSW 2022 and it will premiere on Hulu on 10th June. The movie has been in production since 2017. Initially, it was commissioned by The Fader. And since 2017 the documentary has been filming.

The movie has included various unseen and unreleased clippings and footage from the archive of several interviews of his family, friends, and romantic partners.

The young rapper XXXTentacion was killed on 18th June 2018 by two armed men on the roads of Deerfield Beach, Florida. Both the shooters fled the crime scene with his money but were arrested and charged for first-degree murder.

The extremely famous song ‘Look At Me’ is eponymous to the documentary, released on 30th December 2015. The depression and social alienation he delivered through his music reached millions of hearts.

His life has been extremely painful since he was just thirteen or fourteen years old. He was first charged for having marijuana in his possession in 2012. After that, he was charged for stabbing Dylan Turner. Later on, on 14th July 2016, he got arrested for armed robbery.

His first partner Geneva Ayala filed domestic violence case against him, providing various details about the incidents with XXXTentacion. But the evidence falls short to convict him for these allegations.

From his numerous legal charges to his death his life has been extremely eventful. Grave crimes like an aggravated battery of a pregnant woman, domestic violence, false imprisonment, strangulation, several stabbing, tampering witness he has gone through and did a lot. Yet he pleaded not guilty and denied all the allegations.
