The artist has recently sat with us for an interview, talking to us about her music and ambitions.

Q: So, who is SM- HARMONY? Tell us more about yourself and your music.
Ans: SM-HARMONY is a YouTube channel that is focused on releasing gospel music and the artist’s name is Jurelma Graça.
Q: Your new song, ‘A heaven without you’ received so many views in such a short time. Tell us how did you gain so much attention despite being a new artist?
Ans: The title itself says a lot, so I think through curiosity people wanted to know more about “A heaven without you” and that created a great impact on this song.
Q: Did you write the song by yourself? What is the subject matter of the track?
Ans: I wrote it by myself and based on my life and my wishes and the subject matter of the track is being in heaven with Jesus cause no one wants to be in heaven without the owner of the heavens or no one wants to be in a wedding without the groom and the bride.
Q: What message does it convey and how does it impact the listeners?
Ans: We need to have an objective in our lives, we need to think about our lives after death, we need to know why do we want so bad to go to heaven, and this way the listeners will be concerned to know more or to imagine about heaven without Jesus the creator. Will they be happy? Will they find joy without Jesus?
Q: What inspired you to write such a wonderful lyrical ballad?
Ans: My personal life.
Q: When and why did you start making music in the first place?
Ans: It all started when I was 18 years old, I was going back home listening to a song that a friend wrote for me. I told myself if he is able then I can also write a song for God so that is how I started I ask God and he answered my prayers.
Q: Is there any special reason why did you choose the genre of the gospel?
Ans: Because I am a Christian.
Q: Which musicians inspire you to get into music-making and how do you use their influence in your soundscape?
Ans: Jotta A inspired me a lot the way he sang with no fear in his eyes all he cared is to make the audience catch the message since then I decided to do the same and Marcela Tais, Gabriela Rocha, and Prinscila Alcântara their ways and simplicity influenced me in so many ways, especially on the lyrics and voice.
Q: Are you working independently or under a music production company?
Ans: I am working independently for a while.
Q: Are you working on any project right now?
Ans: Yes! I am planning to release more singles on all the platforms.
Q: Where do you see your musical career five years from now?
Ans: As the best songwriter and vocalist.
