Cardi B Supports Sexual Assault Awareness Month; Tweets, “No One Is To Touch Your Private Parts…”

Rapper Cardi B encourages people to be open about sexual misconduct during Sexual Assault Awareness Month in a series of supportive tweets.

Music superstar Cardi B in a series of tweets asked her fans to stay safe and be free to talk about sexual misconduct.

On Thursday, the 29-year-old rapper in multiple tweets spoke out about the sexual assault awareness month. In her tweets, he encouraged her followers to speak up against any sexual assault they have faced, never feel ashamed of sharing their experience of any misconduct.

She tweeted, “Before April is over, don’t forget its sexual assault awareness month, no means no! It’s [sic] doesn’t matter what you wear, it doesn’t matter who you are, male or female.”She added, “For anyone going through this, the shame is not yours to carry… it’s the monsters who do this.”

In a follow-up tweet, Cardi B shifted her focus to the parents of the abused children. She even encouraged them to let their children know everything about sexual abuse so that they can let their parents know if any such thing has happened to them.

The rapper with two kids, daughter Kulture ( 3 years old) and son Wave(7 months old) tweeted, “Also parents we can’t forget our children. There are sick people everywhere, daycare, schools, you name it.”

 She continued, “Make sure you teach them from a [sic] early age” that “no one is to touch your private parts & never be afraid to tell mommy & daddy when someone makes you uncomfortable.”

After she posted tweets a fan responded with some advice for the children who may experience sexual assault, “also teach them secrets are not good, no matter how small.”

The Twitter user further wrote, “Sadly [family]/friends can tell them [it’s] our secret [and] since they close they think [it’s] ok, no secrets ever!! Also, make sure u don’t use that word either w them so they know secrets are bad and [should] be told.”

April 2022 is the 21st anniversary of Sexual assault Awareness month. According to the National Sexual Assault Center, “it focuses on both awareness and prevention of sexual assault, harassment, and abuse.”

 The motive behind this is to spread awareness of Sexual harassment and be open about it, as keeping such antisocial activities secrets will encourage such criminals to go beyond.
