Billboard Music awards 2022 announced on Monday the addition of 5 more artists to perform on the award nights from different stages, Ed Sheeran, Travis Scott, and others to set fire on stage.,
Billboard Music awards 2022, on Monday, announced five new artists would be part of their star-studded performances on the day of the award show. The award show will be live on 15th May 2022. The award show will receive the first public appearance of Travis Scott after the Astroworld Tragedy in 2021, where ten people died.
Apart from Travis Scott’s music persona like Ed Sheeran, Becky G Elle King, and Miranda Lambert will be the central attraction of the night.
The Music awards have divided the chart-topper songs into 62 categories based on their genres.
Becky G 25 will have her debut performance at the Xfinity Stage award ceremony. On the other hand, Ed Sheeran who is nominated with nine awards categories will perform from Belfast, North Ireland.
King and Lambert will perform the song ‘Drunk (And I wanna Go Home)’, nominated for the best rock music awards.
Travis Scott, who is still not free from the accusations imposed on him for the Astroworld Tragedy in 2021 is nominated for the song ‘Goose Bumps’, nominated in the pop dance/electro song category.
Other performances in the Billboard Music Awards 2022 include Megan Thee Stallion, Rat, Rauw Alejandro, Red Hot Chillie pepper”
The division that produces the award show, MRC Live, and Alternative, said, “We Oppose discrimination, harassment, racism or any kind.”
It further added in its official statement, “We believe in treating everyone with dignity and respect. After a thorough review and robust discussions internally and with the artist’s team, in which we found a demonstrated and ongoing commitment to meaningful work and outreach, we extended an invitation to participate in this year’s show.”
The Billboard Music Awards will be live worldwide from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in the city of Las Vegas on 15th May on Peacock and NBC.
