Supremely talented artist Kendrick Lamar shares his real experiences and feelings with the audience with his highly anticipated LP, ‘Mr. Morale & The Big Stepper’.

The hip-hop community rejoices in the brilliance of Kendrick Lamar’s newest album, Mr. Morale & The Big Stepper after waiting for 5 years for a new album from him. This is Lamar’s fifth studio LP and the fans have been anticipating the album for years. This is going to be one of the most significant steps in his career. There are two discs on the LP with 9 songs each. Disc one opens with a brilliant lyrical ballad, ‘United In Grief’, which deals with the real-life issues people face while dealing with grief.

A lawsuit was filed against the artist by visual artist Lina Iris Viktor in 2018. She claimed that her work was used without permission in the music video of Lamar’s track, ‘All the Stars’, which earned him an Academy Award. After the lawsuit, Lamar kept a low profile. He only made a few guest performances here and there. He released his own work recently with the album. He released a music video last Sunday, ‘The heart Part 5’, which served as a teaser for the album. Released a few years ago, the album has gained massive attention from the global hip-hop audience.

Lamar has used a unique concept of using deep fake to show his face changed to a series of Black men with controversy or cultural heroism. His face is changed into the faces of Kanye West, Will Smith, O.J. Simpson, Nipsey Hussle, Jussie Smollett, and Kobe Bryant. Kendrick Lamar channeled all his energy to explain how the perspective of life changes from different points of view. The other songs in the album have guest appearances from artists like Baby Keem, Ghostface Killah, Beth Gibbons of Portishead, Kodak Black, Sampha, Summer Walker, and Taylour Paige. All the 18 tracks showcase his deepest emotions and beliefs generating greater reaction among the fans.

He became the first rapper to win a Pulitzer Prize for his fourth studio album. His 2022 album, ‘Mr. Morale & The Big Stepper’ is reminding people of the brilliance of his last studio album. The cover art of the album is extremely meaningful. Lamar is seen standing looking at the window with a baby girl on his lap, who looks straight at the window and the soul of the listener. Lamar wears a crown of thorns on his head while a gun sticks out of his belt. Behind him, in the bed, a woman nurses her baby. The image is the representation of family and responsibility.
