After proposing various intriguing options for his fans if they pre-saved his new song ‘Late To Da Party’. And now when he has dropped featuring YoungBoy Never Broke Again his fans are going gaga with the song. But, the rising controversy regarding this song by Lil Nas X since he released the teaser of the song continues. A month ago on 23rd June, he released the teaser in form of a 60s movie intro with a full orchestra playing in the background. He is seen using the F word for BET awards. They didn’t give Lil Nas X any nominations after using his talents for various reasons. And by the intro of the teaser, we get him chanting the lines repetitively.
He is mad about the things that BET authorities wanted him to do or made him do. He narrated lines like, “And I don’t need nobody, I just need these CCs on my body/Everything I do, bitch, right or wrong, gon’ make a profit,” also including lines like, “Read about it/I don’t even get to sing about it.” The catchy chorus of the song is, “Don’t try me, you better save that shit for somebody else.” And in the middle YoungBoy Never Broke Again starts rapping lines, “She want me to buy her some CC/She wanna eat and I hope that she don’t bite, nah,” and also, “She on her knees, and she worshipin’, right now/With her friend, I’m flirtin’, now she wan’ fight now.”
The outro of the teaser is the opening portion of the actual song. From shots of flushing the toilet to wearing a white sneaker with glass heels, the song showcases bits of quirky animations and him counting cash. Deliberately offering some insight into the frustration he has for this television award show. The song was written by David Biral, Denzel Baptiste, Jason Goldberg, Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, and Montero Hill. And was produced by Take a Daytrip, Cheese, Columbia records has distributed the song on all the major music streaming platforms.
Lil Nas X has released an album like ‘Montero’, from the title track of the album to ‘Industry Baby’ with Jack Harlow.
