Rap king Drake has finally explained the reason behind his 14 minutes Private Jet ride that created a huge controversy among his fans and in the music industry.
Social media and people from the music industry went crazy as Drake’s private jet sparked some backlash earlier this week.
It was revealed via @CelebJets, a Twitter account that tracks celebrity flights; that Drake’s jet has made a lot of pollution during his journey from Toronto to Hamilton. It was only 38 miles of journey as both of the places belong to the same state of Ontario.
The whole journey was completed within 14 minutes only but the amount of fuel usage was quite high; around 1,522 liters of jet fuel. As a result, the flight caused over 4 tonnes of CO2 emission.
As soon as the news surfaced, the rapper faced a fair share of criticism from the netizens and environmental activists as well since such a brief trip caused such a huge carbon emission.

Filmmaker and writer Jesse Hawken said, “Drake is part of the problem, taking multiple 15-minute flights to Hamilton and back while the environment is collapsing. Dude, take the GO train ffs.” The frustration and anger are visible in other celebrity comments.
The media and reporters took this opportunity and shed light on other celebrities who are well known for taking short trips in their private jets such as Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Floyd Mayweather, and so on.
With such a backlash has occurred, the rapper finally decided to share words on the matter. Drake said, “This is just them moving planes to whatever airport they are being stored at for anyone who was interested in the logistics,” through a post on Instagram. He further confirmed, “Nobody takes that flight.”

However, this is not the first time that Drake is facing backlash since he has been already criticized over ticket prices for the forthcoming Young Money reunion concert. The rapper is going the stage the concert in Toronto along with Nicky Minaj and Lil Wayne in August.
In July, Drake went for a vacation trip to St. Tropez for some petty fun. The rapper didn’t hesitate to gas up the Air Drake for every impromptu plan he comes up with.
Earlier on 15th July, an intruder trespassed into Drake’s mansion. Though the 23-year-old intruder was soon captured by the police, the person claimed himself as the son of Drake.
Though the rapper has been going through a lot of ups and downs, his seventh studio album ‘Honestly, Nevermind’ has gained a lot of attention from his fans and followers.
