Controversy Over the Cancellation of Malú’s Concert in Castellón

On Friday, August 12, the singer Malú was scheduled to land with her Mil Batallas tour at the SOM Festival in Castellón, but only a few days before the concert had been cancelled.

The news was announced by the organization of the SOM Festival without further explanation than “not being able to guarantee viability in optimal conditions for the public”. From that very moment, the price of the tickets purchased was automatically refunded within seven days, without the public having to do any kind of paperwork.

This is not the only concert of the tour that has been involved in controversy. Previously, he had already postponed —not cancelled— four other concerts: the one on June 3 in Córdoba was moved to October 8; the one from June 11 in Tarragona, to October 15; and those of Gran Canaria and Tenerife will finally take place on October 21 and 22.
