No Loud Music after 10 Pm in the Pubs of Hyderabad

Telangana high court has passed the order that no city pubs are allowed to play music after 10 pm to 6 am in the morning. A large number of petitions have been filed along with many reports. By keeping the serious problem in concern, the state high court has given orders to all the pub owners. There are many questions emerging that how the owner got the approval to build a pub in residential areas, colleges, and schools.

The orders have come into effect from Monday. This order is under the City Police Act and the Noise Pollution Regulation and Control Act. This notice has been issued to the Commissioners of Hyderabad, Cyberabad, and Rachakonda.

There are so many complaints against the pubs because the volume level of music was unbearable and along with that drunk people were being a threat on the road. This way, the citizens were not feeling safe anymore and it was awfully disturbing on daily basis for everyone. The high court has also mentioned that any kind of sound system will not be entertained after a specific time.

The interim order has been passed by Justice Laliktha Kanneganti after hearing the petitions of 2021 filed by Jubilee Hills Residents Clean and Green Association and two others.

The court is also questioning the police department that how they were not taking any initiative step against this problem. Now the HC has ordered that while applying for the license, one has to provide a NOC from Fire Service Department along with the trade license from the local government.

Now the government is instructing to take the rules more strictly beforehand, otherwise, the pub owner might face more problems with their business. The high court has given orders to all the authorities that, if one follows all the instructions and rules of the government, only then one will be able to continue doing business.

The city police are also taking initiatives to launch various awareness programs against noise pollution after so many reports and complaints. The high court is also giving orders to go through all the documents that if the pubs even have permission to play loud music or not. Many actions are being taken on this matter for the well-being of society and citizens.
