(DailyMusicRoll Editorial):- Berlin, Germany Jan 13, 2023 (Issuewire.com) – Culture and talent know no bounds. It transcends the sphere of time and space and then emerges the euphoria of uttermost bliss. Neil Richter is one such artist, whose talent and hard work have led him to cross as well as mix cultural and social boundaries. Known as Dj Neil amongst the youngsters, he has been a highly admired Dj for over 12 years and a successful producer for 6 years. His songs like Fading Summer, Hypnotica, Zuhara, Liebe (EP), and Kaya (EP) have been off the charts and brought about a different and new wave of zeal amongst the youngsters.

Born in the beautiful Northeastern city of Guwahati, Assam, Neil pursued his education in Bangalore and then started his career as a DJ. However, his passion for music led him to start playing at some pubs and performing gigs. In no time he realized that this was his true calling. He played at gigs across Delhi, Mumbai, Guwahati, Shillong, Goa, and Bangalore. His biggest gig at that time was the one he performed at Katmandu on New Year’s Eve for about 7000 people. After this there was no looking back, He returned to India after this but he knew that he needed more to succeed. With a fast-paced industry where new talent was pouring in every day he had to have an edge over them.

So he then moved to Germany to gain knowledge about the field of music production. He learn the technical aspects of music recording, sound engineering, and all that was required to produce the best quality of music. This insight into the life of music production surely gave him an edge as he was no more just a Dj but also someone who could compare, contrast and judge his work with respect to others to bring out his own best. While he worked persistently to succeed and gain knowledge, he also encountered incidents where he had to compete with popular and well-established DJs from India and Germany. His life in Germany took a major leap when he entered into a Dj contest with about 3000 competitors and emerged triumphant at the regional level and became the second runner-up in the nationals at Berlin.

Then what happened was nothing other than the COVID-19 pandemic. As lockdowns were imposed in all cities, pubs were also closed and show canceled. Neil however found a silver lining to this too. In his words, “The pandemic served as a blessing in disguise as I got the opportunity to connect with a number of young talented artists over social media. With the growing impact of social media, I got the chance to showcase my skills there as well as work on the production skills I have.”

As someone of Indian origin who has moved abroad and earned a name for himself, Neil still likes to be acknowledged as an Indian Dj who has and is working in Germany. He wishes to come back to India more often and play for the public here. His goal is to be recognized as an India Dj who moved to Germany and earned a name for himself while he is still so tied to his roots that he comes back every time he gets an opportunity to play in India.
