1. Welcome Rasheem D. Dixon, please accept our hearty congratulations on your extremely compelling number. Your music has been extremely powerful and at the same time widely enjoyable. You have been the epitome of musical motivation for all upcoming music artists. So, please share with your fans how you started your musical journey.
A. I’ve managed because music it what keeps me happy. I do music for my own happiness & if I happen to make people happy with my music then that’s just the extra!
3. Making a journey like this requires a tremendous amount of courage and strength. According to you what is the key to success in this music industry?
A. Taking a hard no but still grinding towards your goals that’s the key to your success.
4. What is the first name of the thing that comes to your mind you hear the phrase ‘Ultimate Musical Inspiration’?
A. Prince, Babyface, any artist who produce music & write.
5. You already have excelled in your musical domain, would you like to experiment with your musical genre or you are going to stick with the conventional archetypal form?
A. I would love to experiment with Trap/R&B As advised by my good friend Anthony Stoute.
6. If you are given the chance to collaborate with any celebrities of your choice, who would that be?
A. Ella Mai
7. Please share a memory that you can associate very dearly with your latest release ‘Turn Up’.
A. Lol my life living in Dallas, TX! Lol it was wild!
8. According to your YouTube channel ‘Special Night (Special Mood)’ is the first song you have dropped there. And then you dropped ‘Been Waiting’, ‘I’m Ready’, and this aforementioned number. Have you made these songs previously and then arranged their release dates or do you just go with the flow and drop it anytime? What’s your strategy to engage the maximum audience?
A. I record and that music might just sit for a year or two then I release. It also is based on if a national recording artist is releasing. I’ll hold off until things die down.
9. As we have mentioned before, 2023 started for you with a bang. What’s next that your audience is going to witness in the upcoming months of 2023?
A. I have another single coming in July of 2023 entitled, “What’Cha Doin”.
10. Of the 4 tracks from your catalog which one is your personal favorite? Tell your fans why?
A. I’m Ready so far is my personal favorite. I mean it’s my first actual dance jam.
11. Would you like to share any advice for upcoming artists? What will help them to sustain themselves in this daunting industry?
A. Just keep plugging. Keep working. And do it for the love of it. The money will come with faith and believing in yourself.
