Bruce Springsteen, who is currently on a world tour with his band, fell straight on stage during a show in Amsterdam. Luckily he has not sustained any serious injuries.
The American Rockstar Bruce Springsteen took a heavy fall during his concert in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The 73-year-old rockstar slii[ped while he was climbing the stairs to the actual stage while performing over the weekend, at the Johan Cruyff Arena. But luckily he did not sustain any injuries, proving he is “Tougher Than the Rest.” The incident happened when the band was performing their hit track “Ghosts” on Saturday. A viral TikTok video of the accident shows the singer slipping and tripping on the stairs as he walked up to the stage while the concertgoers lay out a loud grasp. The singer, who was wearing his guitar around his neck, was seen to fall on his back and stayed there for a couple of seconds before his E Street bandmates rushed over there to help him stand on his feet.
As the crowd was visibly concerned and started to cheer him up for the recovery, the 73-year-old jokingly said “Goodnight everybody!”. The rockstar also appeared uninjured as he brushed everything off, and then proceeded to continue the three-hour-long show at the Johan Cruyff Arena, Amsterdam. Fans then took to social media to express their relief and comfort as the 20 times Grammy winner gave a nonchalant reaction.
One Twitter user wrote, “Thank goodness nothing happened to Bruce Springsteen when he fell on stage last night.” Another user added, “Saw Bruce Springsteen tonight, at one [point] he fell over, but later on he ripped his shirt open to show his chest and remind us he’s a man! It was all very overwhelming.” The other users on the internet called the “flat-on-his-face” fall a “nasty” one, and praised the singer and songwriter’s brave reaction.
