Top rock band from the UK, Blur is all set to drop their upcoming album ‘The Ballad of Darren’ on July 21. It is releasing after 8 eight years since their last album.
English rock band Blur is ready to win the hearts of the listeners again with their upcoming musical project ‘The Ballad of Darren’. This upcoming ninth studio album is all set to drop on 21 July 2023 and the anticipation is quite high among the fans. Scheduled to be released by Parlophone and Warner Records; this album is going to be the first album in the last eight years after their release of the eighth studio album ‘The Magic Whip’ in 2015.
The forthcoming album will be offering a total of 10 rock ballads and each of them is masterfully crafted by the united effort of the band members namely Damon Albarn, Dave Rowntree, Graham Coxon, and Alex James. They also wrote all the tracks starting from ‘The Ballad’, ‘Barbaric’, to the ending track ‘The Heights’. In the deluxe CD edition of the album, listeners will find two bonus tracks other than the collection of 10, namely ‘The Rabbi’ and ‘The Swan’. With the release of this album after so many years, fans are going crazy over it.
The lead single from the album, ‘The Narcissist’ has been premiered on BBC Radio 6 Music show, and later on a lyrical video was uploaded on YouTube. Teasing with the single, listeners showed great response and now the band is all set to drop the album. It does not require to say that Blur is one of the most acclaimed UK bands whose musical albums ranked top in the country.
Not only the release of ‘The Ballad of Darren’, but the band toured this year which took place after 2015 and also it is first live performance after four long years.
