DMR. Hello, Mr. Joe Streetz, a big congratulations on the success of the latest soundtrack ‘Man Up’. What was your reaction after seeing such a huge response from everyone?
Joe. It’s Definitely a great feeling, especially seeing all the hard work pay off!
DMR. What particularly inspired you to create this soundtrack?
Joe. Life really, just experiencing different things at young age and coming into my own as man.
DMR. How would you describe the journey of making this song?
Joe. In my city it’s a lot of gun violence this past year we’ve lost I believe 4 to 5 young men between the ages of 15 and 16 this year so I feel really as someone that made it past that age it’s important for me to speak on it.
DMR. What kind of difficulties you face while creating this track?
Joe. None, at this point of my career creating comes fairly easy.
DMR. You are a hip-hop artist, what has encouraged you to become a hip-hop artist?
Joe. My entire Family is musicians or singers but especially My Mother, My Father, My sister, My friends and life as a whole!
DMR. Would you like to try any other genre in the future?
Joe. I never really thought about it. I can sing a little maybe some R&B lol.
DMR. What motivates you to make various kinds of songs?
Joe. It’s really my vibe whatever mode I’m in and like many in hip hop life experience.
DMR. You create songs on your own, so how do you manage making the tracks?
Joe. Same thing mainly the vibe. It’s really how I hear the beat and how it makes me feel.
DMR. Is there any new project you are currently working on?
Joe. Yes, I dropped Get Rich Or Die A King recently. I have a project with my guy Gifted coming soon and also a project with Corey Beanz, Gifted, 290Jones and myself called the Four Headed Monster.
DMR. Are you planning to go to any concert or show in the near future?
Joe. Yes, we have a lot on our plate coming soon stay tuned and tap in‼️
