Taylor Swift Makes A Kid Cancer Warrior’s Dream Come True

Taylor Swift gifted a ‘22’ hat to 9 year old fan who is a cancer warrior. These heart warming gestures at the Sydney concert have melted the hearts of millions. The queen of heart has always made her fans happy with every public appearance and live concerts and this time, she has made a cancer patient happy during her Eras Tour in Australia.

Australian resident and an ardent fan of Taylor Swift, Scarlett Oliver is a brave kid fighting cancer at the age of only 9 years. Her story was shared by her step-mother on social media and Swifties offered their support. She is from Perth and was diagnosed with cancer.

Oliver’s mother Natalie shared a post on social media with a piece of information on Taylor Swift’s fan page on Facebook. The post reads, “Scarlett is a 9-year-old from Perth, and she was diagnosed in October last year with a high-grade glioma — this is a very aggressive brain cancer with no cure.” In order to explain her medical condition, her mother further wrote, “The prognosis given to us was 12-18 months from diagnosis. She has been an absolute warrior through surgeries, radiation, and other treatments.” The post was further shared by a fan on X (formerly known as Twitter).

According to the message, Oliver showed her desire to meet Taylor Swift. The Make-a-Wish Foundation primarily agreed to conduct that but later on, they informed that the wish cannot be fulfilled. Highly determined, Oliver’s mother took the help of social media to make the wish come true. In the social media post, there was a cute photo where Oliver was holding a sign that reads, “Taylor, can I have the ’22’ hat? Please.” This adorable picture quickly went viral on social media.

Both the mother and the daughter attended the Eras Tour Concert at Accor Stadium last night. Natalie asked the Swifties to help her share her daughter’s story with the singer and fans responded with full of enthusiasm to make Scarlette’s dream come true. Soon the message was delivered and Oliver got a chance to meet Taylor on stage. She received a coveted “22” hat from the singer which she had always wished for.

A fan from the crowd shared a video on X where Taylor Swift could be seen kneeling down, hugging, and kissing the hands of Oliver from the stage. She also put on the hat on the head and that moment was pure joy for not only Oliver but all the other fans!
