Taylor Swift has recently filed to acquire a trademark for ‘Female Rage: The Musical’. The artist is trying to set the stage for a Broadway production. As of now, from the team of Taylor Swift, it is coming to know that they have applied for the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). This application includes all the goods and services. The goods and services include clothing, music, jewelry, dishware, and guitar picks. It also contains ‘entertainment services in the nature of live musical performances, live music concerts, live stage performances in the nature of musical and theatrical productions’.
Swift made an Instagram post and said ‘This post is dedicated to the new Tortured Poets section of the Eras Tour (aka Female Rage The Musical!) and everyone who made these memories so magical’. In Taylor Swift’s legal team, there is Rebecca Liebowitz of Venable LLP. On Saturday in January, they filed a trademark for ‘TAYLOR-CON’. Now it is coming to know that the assigned trademark attorney is Wendell Phillips. Taylor Swift now has to put much effort into the trademark for her ‘Female Rage: The Musical’.
The approval of getting a trademark is quite a lengthy process. The trademark for the ‘Midnights’ was filed on the 28th of August, 2022. The trademark was registered on the 9th of April 2024. From this, everyone can understand how long it takes to get a trademark. The trademark for her creations ‘Speak Now (Taylor Version)’ and ‘1989 (Taylor Version)’ was filed a long time ago. And still, it hasn’t been registered. For both of her records, a letter has been sent to Taylor Swift’s team by the examining attorney. The USPTO has asked for various other documents for the records. Due to not providing the documents, her records are being refused. The usual time for a trademark is nearly 14.5 months, which is a long period of time.

Recently, on Sunday, Taylor Swift finished four nights of her concerts at the La Défense Arena in Paris. On the 87th Eras Tour concert, Taylor gave a performance of a mashup of ‘Treacherous’ and ‘The Alchemy’. The number 87 is Travis Kelce’s jersey number and that is why everyone is assuming that is for his boyfriend Kelce. Taylor will continue the European leg of her Eras Tour. She will next perform at Friends Arena in Sweden from Friday to Sunday.
