Taylor Swift is best known for offering some of the greatest moments in her fans’ lives. And this time, she helped spread love in Portugal! A Swiftie was found on his knees, proposing to his beloved.
Swift Concerts are revered for creating such amazing and surprising moments and Eras Tour is being on the top of it. Firstly, the live versions of her brand new tracks, and then Swift spoke fluently in Portuguese. And now, there is a Live Proposal!
Ricardo Matos, an ardent fan of Swift decided to get down on his knees for his girlfriend, Beatriz Simões while she was live streaming Taylor Swift’s amazing performance on Love Story at Eras Tour in Lisbon. Since it was live streaming, everybody could witness this beautiful moment.
Beatriz is currently 23 and Ricardo 20 and the young couple has brought smiles to many faces. She kept the stream ongoing while her boyfriend got down on his knees and gave her the ring while Swift was singing the line, “he knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring and said, ‘Marry me, Juliet, you’ll never have to be alone.’ ” Now, that’s called right timing! The girl was seen agreeing to the proposal with a simple nod and started sobbing at the live concert.
Eras Tour show at Lisbon’s Estádio da Luz was a big hit and this was the most wholesome story that came out of it and now it is viral on social media. Videos taken from other angles are also being shown as all Swifties are happy with this incident.
Later on, Beatriz said, “It was a total surprise,” and further added, “I’m still in total shock. It was magical, and everyone was so happy.” Being so happy for her boyfriend, the girl added, “He kept singing the song and I was just ugly crying and hugged him.”
While this is happening among the crowd, Taylor remains unaware of the fact and keeps singing and Ricardo seems to know the lyrics well. Matos lip-synced, “I love you and that’s all I really know. I talked to your dad, go pick out a white dress. It’s a love story, baby, just say, ‘Yes.’” Truly, it is the most magical thing that can happen to a Swiftie.
This couple met 5 years back, started dating 3 years ago and now they are going stay together forever. Not to mention, during Taylor Swift’s Eras concert in Pittsburgh; another couple got engaged in the same way!
