The well-known Indian music artist AlkaYagnik is going through a sensory nerve hearing loss disorder, which is quite a rare sickness. Recently, the playback singer announced that she is experiencing a sensorineural hearing issue. Right after the attack, she is being diagnosed with the illness. This condition of her has startled all of her audiences.
Alka made a post on Instagram, which says ‘To all my fans, friends, followers and well-wishers. A few weeks ago, as I walked out of a flight, I suddenly felt I was not able to hear anything. Having mustered some courage in the weeks following the episode, I want to break my silence now for all my friends and well-wishers who have been asking me why I’m missing in action. It has been diagnosed by my docs as a rare sensory neural nerve hearing loss, due to a viral attack…This sudden, major setback has caught me completely unaware. As I attempt to come to terms with it please keep me in your prayers’.
She has also added ‘For my fans and young colleagues, I would add a word of caution regarding exposure to very loud music and headphones. One day, I wish to share the health perils of my professional life. With all your love and support I am hoping to recalibrate my life and come back to you soon. Your support and understanding will mean the world to me in this critical hour…🙏💕’.

The artist suddenly lost her hearing, which is a great matter of concern. This is making a huge impact on her career that can lead to many problems. Sensory nerve hearing loss disorder is generally caused due to listening to loud music for a long time. She has been in the industry for a longer period. It might have caused due to her work. Thus, now she is going under treatment and everyone is hoping she will recover soon.
As she is being treated with such a rare hearing problem, now the artist is trying to spread awareness regarding this sickness. This has been caused due to the effects of headphones and loud music for a long period. The artist has said ‘One day, I wish to share the health perils of my professional life’.
