Jimin’s second solo album ‘Muse’ rise to become the most popular release with over 68% votes. Surely the album is very charming yet quite far from being innovative.
The BTS boy Jimin, once again has proved his worth through his latest release. As he dropped his second solo album ‘Muse fans are going gaga over it. His last year’s release ‘Face’ was also quite a banger for all of his fans across the globe, and now as he dropped his 2nd album on the 19th of July 2024, this has become the most popular choice for This Week’s Favorite New Music in All-Genre Poll. It is essential that has found the magic for his sophomore release as well. After spending his mandated time in South Korea’s military services he once again back to woo his audience.
While he first declared his upcoming release ‘Muse’ in December 2023, there was sort of a melancholic vibe to his release, making it one of his unique releases. Even the beats have a saddening feeling to it. There’s no point regarding this as a highly engaging release along with his powerful style that makes his fans go mad over one of his releases. This album works as a palace of bards with the most beautifully written lines and highly engaging tunes. Yet, this is not something Jimin hasn’t done previously. The seven songs of this album surely engage people which is reflected on This Week’s Favorite New Music in All-Genre Poll.
Theoretically, it says 7 songs but it feels like 6 songs as ‘Interlude: Showtime’ is an instrumental release that leads open the second actual song of this album ‘Smeraldo Garden Marching Band’. Both of these numbers are son synchronized one can separate them if listening with your eyes closed and your heart open. But, being musically satisfying is more important than being innovative with each of his releases, and this entire album is completely based on these satisfying qualities.
While few fans are sad as they didn’t get to witness something as innovative and fresh as his previous release ‘Face’. Yet, this release is something that they will continue to enchant with the sad trombone of this album. Visually the song is inspired by The Beatles’ “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.” Yet, the wholesome nature of this album is surely that has gripped millions already. With songs like ‘Who’, ‘Slow Dance’, and ‘Closer Than This’ he continues to interact with his emotive side of this audience. Pressing on the right nerve to bring the best and the most blissfully created tracks of ‘Muse’.
