The news of the demise of Tishaa Kumar shocked the entire Hindi film industry; being the cousin of Tulsi Kumar was suffering from cancer for a long while and died from this ailment. There was a video of Sonu Nigam attending the prayer meeting on Monday that started to go viral on social media. In this video, he is seen approaching Krishan Kumar, the cousin of T-Series head Bhushan Kumar, and going on his knees and resting his head on his lap crying and Krishan consoled him with his weakened hands.
In the same video, Shann is also seen standing in the back. Most of them were wearing white. Singer Siddharth Kumar Mohan captured the viral video as Sonu Nigam was seen crying uncontrollably while Krishan consoled Sonu. On the video one fan wrote reacting to the video, “He is also a father, so he is feeling for Kishan Kumar.” “Sonu has a pure soul, he can feel pain,” said another. Another Instagram user said, “Sonu has a very good relationship with the Kumar family.”
Another person commented, “Sonu is a very emotional person!! May her soul rest in peace.” “People have lost empathy. How can they say it’s overacting those who have lost know how grateful you are that you don’t have to endure such pain of losing someone in your life,” said a fan. Many celebrities including Kartik Aaryan, Vicky Jain, Anil Kapoor, Jaaved Jaaferi, Anu Malik, Jackie Shroff, Udit Narayan, Bobby Deol, Riteish Deshmukh, Farah Khan, Saiee Manjrekar, Sajid Khan attended her funeral in Mumbai on Monday.
Her last rites were scheduled to take place on Sunday but it got postponed as the aircraft carrying her mortal remains was forced to redirect to Ahmadabad and landed there due to the bad weather in Mumbai. The entire industry can empathize with the loss of Krishan Kumar and Tanya Singh. The last time she made a public appearance was on 30th November 2023 at the premiere of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s directed movie, ‘Animal’ starring Ranbir Kapoor.
On Instagram, Tulsi Kumar wrote about this demise along with a charming photo of Tishaa. She wrote, “Our dearest Tishaa, it breaks my heart that you are gone/ It was not your time to go, we wanted to see you grow, prosper, achieve success and see you in your wedding dress, not see you like this/ Gone too soon my little sister/ Love u our princess in our hearts forever”.
