Pretty much most of the Indians and Bollywood fanatics are familiar with the Sri Lankan beauty and immensely talented actress Jacqueline Fernandez and her superb skills in hit movies like ‘Kick’, ‘Judwaa 2’ and ‘Housefull’ but this time the actress has come out with a surprise for her admirers and fans. He has launched a music video that portrays the elegant actress in a completely different light. People are quick to judge a person who is beyond the standards of the society and Jacqueline is one of them in regards to the beauty standards. There is an old saying that goes like ‘beauty without brains’ but this hurtful stereotypical thought process is getting destroyed each time an actress like Jacqueline comes onto the screen. Her beauty is equally matched with her tale4nt to fit and adapt to every role she has been given.
The whole world is once again taken aback by her screen presence but this time it is not in some movie rather it is in her latest music video. According to her, this video is the result of labor and hundreds of hours spent on the set and studio and definitely the hard work and efforts put in by her team to make her vision come true. The music video opens with a close-up shot of the actress’ eyes and then the camera follows the beauty queen as she slowly and elegantly takes over the stage. The whole image turns yellow and golden which establishes the actress as a high and strong authority. Jacqueline’s golden jewelry along with her crown metaphorically and also literally shows what a queen she is.
The location where the music video was shot seems way too gorgeous due to the golden background and the mirror patterns on the walls which reflect the golden color giving the visual a royal look. The contrast in the case of the color scheme is meticulously planned and works out really well with the red dresses of the backup dancers on a golden background. The singer is Amrita Sen whose amazing and seductive voice is a perfect match with Jacqueline’s sensuality. The costume designer Namita Alexander has done an excellent job in grabbing the audience’s focus with her selection of colors.
The video shows Jacqueline as a strong feminine figure who is good enough for not just anyone but herself and she is owning her business like nobody’s business. The visual changes suddenly within 2 minutes into the video and the golden screen becomes bloody red in the blink of an eye which again grabs the eyes of the audience and keeps them engaged. With shots of raging storms outside and all the dances dancing in the rain with Jacqueline in the middle justifies her strength and the name of the track. At the very end, the dark theme of the track becomes clear again with the change of color palette, golden turns to silver reflecting the thunder and lightning of the storm, and the red dresses portray the danger it carries.
