Some people like music and some people are born to do it. Multifaceted music artist Destined911 belongs to the latter with her passion for music that grew from childhood. This talented LGBTQ singer is all set to drop her upcoming track ‘Scorpio’ on November 14 and listeners are eagerly waiting for it. DMR: Congratulations on the making of ‘Scorpio’! Please tell us something about your upcoming song.

Destined911: This Song lets you have a little insight to some of my crazy thoughts.

DMR: Are you a Scorpio by the Zodiac or there is any deeper meaning to it?

Destined911: I am a Scorpio.

DMR: It is hard to label you in any genre. How would you like to explain your genre-bending styles?

Destined911: I’m just music.

DMR: As an LGBTQ music artist, do you think your music can spread more awareness and benefit the community?

Destined911: As an LGBTQ music artist, I believe that the community can relate to each song and it makes them feel good because they have a music artist who expresses messages that relate to their daily life.

DMR: What are your views on the modern music industry and listeners?

Destined911: I love the fact that independent artist can still put music out without a major backing them. I think there’s a lot of listeners out there that sometimes get tired of hearing the same thing and like discovering new music from time to time.

DMR: You have amazing vocals! Is there any daily vocal-care routine?

Destined911: Thank you so much and I sing everyday. I don’t really have a routine. I’ve been singing my whole life.

DMR: Since you started doing music from childhood, who helped you the most to pursue your passion in this craft?

Destined911: My parents supported me knowing what I wanted to do from a very young age. My mother always made sure she educated all of her 7 kids about every genre. She educated me about copyrights and studios. Since I had no other interest, my Mom would educate me about various artist. I would be in the room for hours upon hours practicing and perfecting my voice. I can go on and on. What I really like was being about to attend a performing arts school.

DMR: Would you like to name some of your mentors who helped you pave this successful career?

Destined911: The late Louis Satterfield of Earth Wind and Fire was my mentor. He made sure that he educated me as well and helped. I’ll never forget him.

DMR: Would you like to collaborate with other artists? Tell us about your ‘Dream Collaboration’.

Destined911: Yes and I’m not really sure to be honest. I never think about that.

DMR: Is there any upcoming project that you are currently working on?

Destined911: I have so many treats coming.

DMR: What tips would you like to give to your peers and fellow artists?

Destined911: Make sure you just be you.

DMR: Would you like to share a short note for your fans?

Destined911: I love my fans. They’re awesome.
