‘Do Patti’ is set to release on 25th October but the new track ‘Akhiyaan De Kol’ is making people fall in love as it features Kriti Sanon looking like a rose.
For those who like a little suspense, thrill, and mystery, Katha Production is about to bring a nice treat just a little bit before Diwali as an advance present in the form of their new movie ‘Do Patti’. A new song from the movie was released on 18th October is called ‘Akhiyaan De Kol’ which features all of the leading actors and actresses of the movie. Within just a few days of its release, it has gained more than 90 lakh views on YouTube. The song showcases the ultimate beauty and elegance, the eminent Kriti Sanon holds while wearing a bright red leather dress which makes her look like a blooming rose. The backup dancers are dressed in shades of black and silver with glittery wardrobes which creates contrast with Kriti’s attire and the checkered stage that represents the checkered board used in chess.
This contrast definitely pulls all the eyes on her if they were not there before due to her expressive dance moves and dark, mysterious, and captivating eyes. From the video it looks like Kriti Sanon is reliving her Param Sundari days with all eyes on her, and should not it be that way, she is the lead actress and also a co-producer of this movie. She seems to bringing her A-game to the table for this one. The song also shows the love interest of Kriti who is played by the dashingly handsome Shaheer Sheikh and Kajol Devgan as a boss lady with a gun, she seems to be looking for her suspect.
The movie depicts the story of two twins, one of which is innocent like a flower, and the other one is clever and cunning. This theme is also portrayed in the song ‘Akhiyaan De Kol’ where Kajol is seen to be confronted by two people looking like Kriti but one is wearing a white dress and the other one is wearing a black one on the checkered board of chess along with some real-life sized chess pieces depicting the deceiving theme of the movies. But the song gets the touch of sensuality only due to the magical voice of Shilpa Rao. Her excellent delivery has added a different layer to this track altogether. Her voice paired with the magical music of Nucleya, makes it impossible not to get and dance along.
One other thing about the new track is its uncanny resemblance to the 1973 hit track with the same name from the movie ‘Bobby’. The classic hit starred the honorable late Rishi Kapoor and the evergreen Dimple Kapadia, so it can be assumed that she may have a major nostalgic rush after listening to the new track. The movie is set to be released on Netflix for everyone to watch.
