Primavera Sound Barcelona 2025 has announced a stacked lineup this year including artists like Charli XCX, Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, Haim, and more.
The Pop Girl takeover of the world of music does not look like it is going to rest in 2025! The Barcelona music festival Primavera Sound is returning next year in June and it just announced the next year’s lineup. You guessed it right! The Pop girlies are headlining the festival next year! Headliners include the names of Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, Charli XCX, Haim, etc.
The main festival is being hosted at its usual home, Parc del Fòrum, from June 5 to 7, and will host performances by a total of 147 artists from all around the world. This newly announced fresh lineup includes artists like LCD Soundsystem, FKA Twigs, HAIM, Jamie xx, Fontaines D.C., Beach House, IDLES, Clairo, Turnstile, Sturgill Simpson, ANOHNI and the Johnsons, MJ Lenderman, Aminé, Magdalena Bay, and Waxahatchee. FKA Twigs will be returning to the bill after her performance was canceled last year. Performances from others will stretch through the entire week at venues in Barcelona.
The dozens of other artists who will be attending the stage of Primavera Sound Barcelona 2025 and are scheduled to perform include the names of Floating Points, Stereolab, Cat Power playing Dylan, Idles, Frost Children, Been Stellar, Beabadoobee, Denzel Curry, Jamie XX, Stereolab, the Dare, Wet Leg, This Is Lorelei, and more.
The tickets for the Primavera Sound Barcelona 2024 music festival will be available through the official Primavera Sound website, starting from October 28. The registration is open now so interested music lovers can check the website and register themselves early for the biggest music festival in Barcelona. While the presale will take place on October 28th, the general sale on the website will start on October 29th at 11 a.m. CET. Fans can get passes for all three days of the weekend for $286. They can also register for access on the festival’s official website.
LCD Soundsystem performing at the festival was announced right after the group premiered their first song in two years, ‘X-Ray Eyes,’ on a British radio show. Although this record is still not available for streaming, people are pretty stoked with the band’s return. On the other hand, FKA Twigs was scheduled to appear at the festival in both 2023 and 2024, yet pulled out from both year’s performances. However, the musician plans to release her newest studio album ‘Eusexua’ on January 24, 2025. So, her performance at this year’s Primavera festival is one of the most anticipated.
In recent years, Primavera has extended its offerings and held sister events in Madrid, Los Angeles, São Paulo, Asunción and Buenos Aires. In 2024, the festival’s lineup included performances from Blur, Lana Del Rey, Pulp, SZA, Justice, The National, Mitski, and Charli XCX. This August, the festival announced that it is not continuing all their Latin American editions.
