BTS’ Jin released a new single ‘I’ll Be There’ and it is a rockstar anthem. The absolute hip-shaker will be a part of his upcoming solo album ‘Happy’.
Jin is soon coming with his new solo album ‘Happy’. Now the BTS star has released its first single ‘I’ll Be There’. When the musician named his first solo single, he did not do it randomly. He aimed to provide genuine smiles and happiness with his single and that is exactly what his newest release did. On Friday, October 25th, Jin released the pop-rock track, the lead single from his upcoming album, and sent the AMRY into a shock of excitement and energy.
In a recently done interview with Dolby Atmos shared exclusively with Billboard, the 31-year-old South Korean singer shared that he wrote this new song with the hope of “providing happiness” to his fanbase. “When ARMY feel tired and lonely, I hope this song gives them strength,” with the hope of “providing happiness” to his fanbase. “When ARMY feel tired and lonely, I hope this song gives them strength,”
Now that the song is finally here, it is safe to say that the singer has truly brought something unique, something explicitly different to the scene. If you miss 1960s bubblegum rock, then this track would be the perfect listen for you. The BTS singer has combined bubblegum rock with modern dance-pop in the track which will give you a glimpse of Pharell’s ‘Happy’. Like another former band member that we know, Harry Styles, Jin also shifts to rock from pure pop music when he goes solo. However, ‘I’ll Be There’ is a complete ode to devotion and joy. Jin even promises in the chorus, “I swear that I will always sing for you/ Sing for you, oh-oh-oh/ I’ll be there for you.”
With his previous single ‘Astronaut’, Jin seemed to give a love letter to his fans, whom he adorably calls his universe. In this latest single, he doubles down on his devotion, telling his fans, that even if the worst came to worst, he will always be there for them. While as a dual language song, most of the lyrics are in Korean, the singer’s emotions sit right there, at the surface.
There is an accompanying music video that captures the singer in a parking lot, busking with his band. The clips showcase Jin as an up-and-coming and humble solo superstar, which fits right into his image. In reality, of course, the singer has already entered the phase. There is also an impromptu dance performance featuring skater girls and boys along with random fans pulling up to the scene. Jin looked sharp and adorable as ever dressed in jeans and a blue cardigan. According to a release, this lead single “conveys a sincere message, aiming to uplift those who feel downhearted and alone by delivering joy through Jin’s playful yet straightforward style.”
