The American singer-rapper Post Malone is set to headline the Coachella Music and Art Festival next year. His ‘Big Ass Stadium’ tour also indicates a stop at a stadium!
According to reports, Post Malone will headline the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival 2025. On November 19th, yesterday, the American rapper and singer announced his ‘Big Ass Stadium’ US tour “for the next year. What is interesting about the tour dates is that they include two dates in Indio, California which fall on the same days that Coachella is set to take place in 2025. This clearly indicates that Posty might be the one performing at the music and arts festival. However, no confirmation regarding his headlining for the event has been given yet.
Rolling Stone was among the magazines that first broke the news of Malone indeed headlining the event. The magazine confirmed the news based on an anonymous source which also teased the news that the rapper would perform a “mind-blowing set”. According to the news, this set would consist of some of his biggest hits and songs from the last year and his last released album ‘F-1 Trillion’. The news also claimed that the performance would be the “perfect precursor to his stadium tour.”
However, neither the artist himself nor Coachella have confirmed the news of him headlining next year’s festival. The lineup for the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival 2025 is set to arrive in January, continuing its tradition with the Californian festival. According to reports, both Rihanna and Kendrick Lamar have turned down the opportunity to headline the festival the next year. In 2024, the festival was headlined by Lana Del Rey, Doja Cat, and Tyler, The Creator. The crowd at the festival also saw the return of No Doubt and more.
The announcement of Posty supposedly headlining the music festival next year brought frenzy among fans on social media platforms. One user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote, “He will never not be popular” while another one said, “This is HUGE!”. On another post, users added comments like, “Posty at Coachella? That’s going to be a vibe!”, “Fuck yea he’s the best artist alive right now”, “Epic! 🔥”, “That’s a win”, “Post Malone 👌👌”, “This is gonna be 🔥.”, “OMGGGGGG COUNTRYYYYYY”, “He has such a strong discography and is known for his captivating live performances.” etc.
The rest of his ‘Big Ass Stadium’ tour will include the artist making stops in cities like Miami, Washington DC, Glendale, Detroit, New York and Minneapolis. The tour will also have artists like Jelly Roll and Sierra Ferrell. The tickets to Malone’s upcoming tour will go on sale on November 26 from 12pm local time. His latest album ‘F-1 Trillion’ was released in August this year and followed his fifth studio album ‘Austin‘, released last year. ‘F-1 Trillion’ had some of the biggest features including Dolly Parton, Tim McGraw, and Luke Combs.
The summer for the musician was nothing short of magical. The singer revealed his baby daughter saved his life after he was “on a rough path”. Post Malone appeared on CBS Sunday Morning and when asked about the true meaning behind ‘Yours’, a track from ‘F-1 Trillion‘, he says the song imagines his daughter’s wedding day. Malone said he had “written a whole lot of songs” about his child. “It changes your life in the best way ever,” Posty shared. “I’ll never forget her. If you’ve heard her cry, you’ll never forget her, either.”
