Miley Cyrus Shares Her Thoughts On Influencing Sabrina And Chappell

The pop industry is greatly influenced by music artists who inspire others to do more music. Miley Cyrus is such a singer-songwriter who has greatly inspired the new-age pop stars that inspiration comes from childhood.

Miley has successfully racked up over 1 billion streams on Spotify in over 6 of her songs and the fans have been listening to her for ages. The influence of Hannah Montana’s alum is huge for the pop lovers as well as the artists who grew up listening to her. Miley Cyrus has shared a lot of her honest thoughts through the ‘Billions Club: The Series’ which is exclusive content.

Modern pop stars, and new-age artists such as Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo, Chappell Roan, and many others have been following the stepping stone of Cyrus and she has earned their love and appreciation with her own works.

The 31-year-old superstar said, “You never think about in the future, someone replicating what you do,” and further added, “You’re just doing it because it’s honest at the moment.” The singer talked about a bigger spectrum and said, “Now to see that impacting culture — it’s something I didn’t know I wanted, but I guess I do.”

Then she said, “I have my own artists who have created who I am.” The ‘Flowers’ singer mentioned her idols namely Stevie Nicks, Dolly Patron, and Tina Turner, and continued,  “Even though they look up to me the way I look up to these other women, it’s really important they do it their own way, because that’s what my career has represented above all else.”

Talking about her own inspiration, Miley said, “The freedom I’ve kind of given these other artists to be themselves, [to] do it proud and loud — it’s just amazing to watch that be so impactful and influential.” The Spotify Billions Club episode is a work of OBB Productions which is more like a celebratory project as Miley Cyrus’s 2013 hit track ‘Wrecking Ball’ has surpassed the mark of a billion streams.

Another track that hit the milestone pretty soon is 2023’s hit ‘Flowers’ which quickly rose to the 10-digit territory. Miley also mentioned Chappell Roan in the interview and said that she wishes that “people would not give a hard time” to her.

She also talked about the influence of Instagram saying, “It’s probably really hard coming into this business with phones and Instagram,” and further added, “That wasn’t always a part of my life, and I’m not a part of it now. I don’t even have my Instagram password.” Perhaps, that’s the secret of Miley’s energy!
