Lorrie Morgan to be Honored with Lifetime Career Achievement Award at the 2025 Josie Music Awards

Lorrie Morgan, was the first woman in country music to start her career with three consecutive Platinum albums.  Morgan, known for her powerful voice and chart-topping hits like “Five Minutes,” “What Part of No,” and “I Didn’t Know My Own Strength,” has been a beloved figure in country music for decades. Her collaborations with artists such as Keith Whitley, Tammy Wynette, and Johnny Mathis have left an indelible mark on the genre.  Also, her collaborations with artists including the Beach Boys and Frank Sinatra carried the message of Country Music well beyond the boundaries of genre and were instrumental in introducing an even wider audience to Country Music.  Lorrie Morgan celebrated her 40th Anniversary as a member of the Grand Ole Opry in 2024.

The Lifetime Career Achievement Award will be presented to Morgan during the 2025 Josie Music Awards ceremony, held at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville. The event will feature live performances, tributes, and award presentations honoring independent music artists and legends from around the globe.
