Ed Sheeran Was Spotted Roaming On A Scooter With Arijit Singh In Jiaganj

Pop music artist, Ed Sheeran has been spotted in Murshidabad’s Jiaganj on a scooter with his ‘good friend’ Arijit Singh. 2025 has given a lot of surprises but no one was ready for this. Murshidabad is nearly 220 km away from the capital of West Bengal. Spotting the British singer in such place was completely surprising for everyone. In addition to that, he was not even with heavy security, which made it even more astonishing.

Ed was seen enjoying the ride along with Arijit. Previously, in last September, both this artists hit the stage together while Arijit went to perform in his concert in London. This time, Ed Sheeran has come to India to do his tour and went to meet the Indian singer. Both of them were seen on the street of North Bengal on Monday. According to reports, they have been roaming around the city for nearly 5 hours. The artists have rode and visited Phulmore to Bhagirathi banks.

Both of them have also gone to the Shibtalaghat and enjoyed a boat ride on the river, Bhagirathi. The internet has been buzzing since then. No one has expected them to witness on the streets of Jiaganj. This time, Ed Sheeran is offering many surprises to his Indian fans. A few days ago, after his concert in Bengaluru, he was seen performing on the streets of the city. It was a huge surprise for everyone and people started gathering around him. However, the police of Bengaluru had to stop him due to security reasons. This time, in Murshidabad, nothing like this happened.

A teacher of Ghugridanga Adivasi High School, NehaSingha Roy has said ‘I noticed Arijit Singh. He is a local, we can recognize him anywhere. He was with a few others and one among them appeared to be a foreigner, but I did not immediately recognize him from afar. A lot of important people come to visit Arijit in Jiaganj. The moment I reached home, I searched the internet and realized I had actually spotted Ed Sheeran’.

The SP of the district, Surya Kumar Yadav said ‘We are aware that Ed Sheeran is in Jiaganj. Arijit specifically told us that they did not need any personal security but requested us to look into the law-and-order aspect in view of Sheeran’s celebrity status. We have ensured that. He is scheduled to leave for Shillong later in the evening’. Syed WaquarRaza, the DIG also added ‘It is a personal visit and Singh had not asked for any additional security’.
