The comic book, illustrated by Japanese artist MINOMIYABI, explores transformation, courage, and unity, mirroring the narrative depth of the album itself. With a track record of collaborating with music icons like Metro Boomin, Gorillaz, and Elvis, Zero Zero Entertainment brings its signature storytelling approach to LISA’s world, ensuring a visually striking and immersive experience for fans. Beyond music, LISA is also making strides in the world of television and film, with her acting debut in the third season of The White Lotus. The HBO series, known for its sharp storytelling and ensemble cast, marks a significant step in her expanding entertainment career. Zero Zero CEO Josh Frankel told a reputed source ‘Alter Ego storyline presents a new approach to the traditional musician-comic model from his years in the industry.’ He added, ‘Working with Lisa represents an entirely new level of opportunity and prestige.’ Lisa’s fans, known as BLINKs, have embraced her foray into comics. One fan on X (formerly Twitter) wrote, ‘Lalisa Comics sounds like an amazing project! Can’t wait to see her creativity shine.’ Another added, ‘Lisa launching Lalisa Comics? She’s not just a star- 3 creating her own universe. Watch out, Marvel!’ The comic is set for release on 24 March 2025, nearly a month after Alter Ego drops.
Meanwhile, Lisa has made waves in the acting world with her role as Mook in The White Lotus Season 3. She plays a hotel liaison who shares a romantic subplot with security guard Gaitok. The series is currently streaming on JioHotstar in India.
