Hasley Ate And Left No Crumbs With Her Steamy Music Video ‘Safeword’

It seems like all these years in the music industry could not stop Hasley from being true to her unapologetic and raw self. The versatile pop singer has come up with a brand new music video that is NSFW, outrageous, and gorgeous like Hasley. On Thursday, February 27, the singer shared ‘safeword’ that explores a kinky side and major inclination towards BDSM.

The song is currently revolving at the center of everyone’s attention as the last release by the artist was in 2024 with her album The Great Impersonator. The latest single offers a peppy energy that sounds perfectly synced with Hasley’s dynamic voice. With the energy of a rockstar and punk-soaked energy, the song is wild and offers a sense of freedom.

With lyrics like “I’m not a criminal, I’m just a wild child” and “I’m not a bad girl, I just like it wild style”, it is clear that Hasley is not here to play. But she is considerate as she says, “Just say the safe word when you’ve had enough.” The song has a punchy flavor with strong instrumentals which makes it sound even better.

The official music video is directed by Lana Jay Lackey who masterfully depicted Hasley’s dominatrix energy. The director has experience working with North West, Billie Eilish, Teyana Taylor, and many others.

Calling the music video NSFW can be fairly an understatement for the amazing work that is artistic and engaging. There are some tantalizing depictions of bondage, latex, feeding, and a few other kinks. It is not a ‘hush hush’ work but more like bold and liberal.

The artist is currently preparing for her ‘For My Last Trick Tour’ which is all set to start in May this year. It will be accompanying ‘The Great Impersonator’ and is all set to kick off in Concord, California. There are further dates in June and July and then it will finally wrap up in Highland, California.

The music tour will be also joined by Evanescence, Del Water Gap, Royel Otis, Flowerovlove, The Warning, Hope Tala, Sir Chloe,  Alvvays, Magdalena Bay, and Alemeda who are considered to be one of the greatest inspirations of the album.
