The trio posted a solitary Instagram post with images of Danielle Haim celebrating her 36th birthday party in New York last night on February 13th with the caption: ‘(ha)i’m single.. haim single?’ While the caption initially seems to suggest that she is currently single, the band later posted an Instagram story, in which all three members can be seen dancing to M83‘s hit single ‘Midnight City’ with a voiceover saying: ‘We are back baby, we are fucking back,’ further suggesting that their comeback is on the cards. No further details were shared until now.

On 3rd March, have announced their comeback single ‘Relationship’ and they have also shared the track’s artwork which might feature a nod to Nicole Kidman. Last week a post on Instagram was uploaded by the trio which showed them dancing and singing an unreleased track in a bathroom. The lyrics went like, ‘I hear a voice in my head and it keeps asking why am I in this relationship / Baby how can I explain when an innocent mistake turns into 17 days / Fucking relationships’. It was sung by Danielle over a breezy pop beat.
Recently, the Haim sisters have announced that ‘Relationship’ will be their next new single. The artwork of the single displays all the three women standing outside in the sun looking free and happy. This single will be their first since their 2023 single ‘Home which featured on the Barbie soundtrack. The sisters also reflected on the 10th anniversary of their debut album ‘Days Are Gone’ which saw them perform a massive London headline show at All Points East, which an established music magazine gave was given a five-star review and stated that it was a ‘return’ to their ‘spiritual home’ with the band having credited the English capital and the UK as ‘the first place to ever embrace us so we actually call this home’.

They shared with the magazine how their debut album ‘All Days are Gone’ had ‘completely changed our lives’. That time, when they were asked about their future plans, the trio shared that they had ‘been working with some cool people.’ ‘We played Jai Paul earlier; we might’ve been in the studio with him,’ they teased. The band added that they ‘may or may not have been in the studio with him’ and ‘cannot confirm or deny’. Their last album ‘Women In Music Pt. III’ was released in the summer of 2020. The record was awarded five stars by an established music magazine and was described as an ‘experimental and emotionally charged album’ and ‘their best yet’.
