On December 4, Jin from the popular k-pop band BTS has turned 28 years old. In the hours that lead up to his 28th birthday, the BTS singer in South Korea released the original song created on his own on the major music streaming app Soundcloud. The song that took everyone by surprise is titled ‘Abyss’ and along with it a note is also written by Jin for his very own BTS fans and has explained the background surrounding the creation of the song.
The very famous Korean band has got seven members in all and they are Jin, J-Hope, Suga, V, Jimin, RM, and Jungkook. The oldest member of the band is Jin who was born in 1992 on 4th December that has made him 29 years old in South Korea although he is 28 years old internationally.
He is very popular and his good looks are admired by his fans all around the globe and he is also known as Worldwide Handsome. It is the ARMY that is in love with the mukbang show called ‘Eat Jin’ on VLIVE.
In the year 2019, Jin came up with the track ‘Tonight’ on the trending music platform Soundcloud for the BTS FESTA. ‘Tonight’ is a special song along with ‘Moon’, ‘Epiphany’ and ‘Awake’ that are going to bring the ARMY the best of comfort.
In the year 2020, the birthday of Jin falls a few days after the release of the track ‘Life Goes On’ by the group that debuted as the No. 1 on the list of Billboard Hot 100. It is the track that became the third No. 1 song in a passage of just three months and it is the track of a non-English language that has debuted ever on the chart at the No.1 spot.
Just a few hours before midnight struck in KST, BTS fans were surprised to get the best gift from Jin in the form of the track ‘Abyss’. It is posted by the BTS singer on the shared Twitter account of the K-pop group that has got a link to ‘Abyss’ and it also carries a blog post that speaks about the track.
The production of the track ‘Abyss’ is done by BUMZU and it is written by the likes of Pdogg, RM, Jin, and also BUMZU. A vulnerable lyric is featured in the track that speaks about burnout experiences and the beautiful metaphor of being adrift at the sea is used with incredible finesse. A message is sent by jin with the track about patience and it speaks of coming to the resolution that there is pretty much comfort in vulnerability.
Jin shared a message to his fans where he said that he started experiencing burnout and received quite a lot of counseling related to his anxieties. He had a word with Bang Si-Hyuk who is the co CEO of Big Hit Entertainment and he has encouraged him to translate what has been felt by him into the music. ‘Abyss’ was created after he was introduced to BUMZU.
Jin’s birthday was celebrated by the ARMY on social media with many trending hashtags like #HappyJINDay, #OurMoonJinDay, #BrightestDiamondJin, and many more. Jin sends a special note to his fans where he mentioned that ‘Abyss’ might not seem like a very typical birthday song but the fans of BTS has not to mind it at all. Fans are in awe of the track ‘Abyss’ and they are really loving it and also the message.
